Human Resources’ Seat at the Sustainability Table

Human Capital is critical to ESG (Environmental-Social-Governance) success. Business leaders are building sustainable organizations. HR leaders play a deliberate role in the organization’s DNA, people strategies that are aligned with the sustainability strategy. Many HR leaders ask important questions: How can I to contribute to my organization’s efforts? Where do I begin? What do I need to know to be a great partner to build a sustainable organization?

When Human Resources has a “seat at the sustainability table,” every function can be connected to the organization’s sustainability strategy. This session describes a four-quadrant model, A Sustainable Workplace Framework, as a partnership between your sustainability office and key HR leaders. We’ll discuss alignment toward Innovation and Development, Growth Path and Business Direction, Outreach, Reputation, Credibility and Cost Reduction, and Risk Mitigation.

We’ll inspire your thinking about workforce, culture, leadership, employee engagement, talent acquisition and development.  In a company with a culture of sustainability, HR leaders have an imperative to lift off a plan where each employee has competency, accountability, and responsibility for the outcomes.  The heart of sustainability is the human element.

This highly impactful session provides you with the motivation, encouragement, and basic capabilities to play an essential role toward a sustainable future for your organization.
