How Safe Are Your Employees? Be Proactive and Protect Your Organization - Active Shooter Training

Safety concerns are gaining increasing attention in today’s workplace as mass shootings, bomb threats, terrorist attacks, and retaliatory acts by disgruntled employees are becoming more realistic threats.  As Human Resource professionals, the responsibility falls on us to ensure that employees, at all levels, feel secure and safe in the workplace. This responsibility includes ensuring that protocols and procedures are in place to address active shootings, hostage situations, and a myriad of other workplace violence scenarios that could occur.

This program will help address the necessary steps an organization should take to be proactive in protecting employees, clients, and property. In addition to physical safeguards, issues such as the recruitment process, background checks, policies on violence, social media, and cyber security, etc., are also areas in which HR professionals need to play a key role. While it is hard to image the unimaginable happening, it is best to be prepared and be vigilant.
