    After the Pause: Re-Opening Your Workplace

    Many employers are in the midst of re-opening their workplace sites. Because many workplace sites will have an entirely different look and feel, most employees will return to a new normal. An investment in the return-to-work process increases the ability for employers to plan in a practical manner for their reopening and allows their organizations to be knowledgeable in navigating these unchartered waters.

    Participants attending this session will learn:

    •Practical considerations that should be addressed before and after re-opening the physical worksite
    •Common employee relation scenarios (i.e., elevated risk factors, mask issues) that employers should be prepared to address with recall procedures
    •Understanding employer obligations under the WARN Act
    •Awareness of the N.J. travel advisory’s impact on return-to-work initiatives
    •Updates on federal and state laws, such as FFCPA leave and its interaction with other regulations
