Certification Counts: Add Credentials to Your Name

Make SHRM Certification One of Your Goals!

Join Our SHRM Learning System Study Group.

This group combines the leadership of experienced facilitators with the learning modules and online study tools of the 2020 SHRM Learning System to expand your human resource knowledge and skills, and prepare you for the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) exam.

This certification is focused on eight behavioral competencies, one technical competency, and four HR knowledge areas.

The course is designed to provide HR professionals with a roadmap for developing capabilities to advance their careers and to improve their effectiveness in the workplace.

The SHRM competency model is fundamental to the two new certifications:  the SHRM CP and the SHRM SCP, which have been launched to accomplish two goals. For HR professionals, the goal is to reaffirm the importance of acquiring the competencies and knowledge, not just the knowledge.  For organizations, the goal is to provide relatable indicators of proficiency in these two aspects of HR practice.

This twelve-week study group is designed for human resource professionals interested in preparing for the SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP exam, achieving professional advancement, and building confidence for addressing today's HR challenges.

The cost is reasonable at $750 for members and $800 for non-members..The fee includes books that usually retail for $850 for SHRM members and $1050 for non-members. Our price includes a free study group - 12 sessions for classes, (classes are $1500 at local universities) access to the SHRM resource center for self testing and support. The class equals at least 40 hours of study instruction, and also included are paper powerpoint documents which illustrate the framework for each module.

Included with the books is the online learning system which provides you with an assessment to test your knowledge, tests with more than 2000 questions, a post test that mimics the certification exam and a resource center with study aids, such as flash cards.

We have skilled instructors.  The course starts in February. It will be held on Mondays at the Jackson Lewis offices in Tinton Falls.  It's always a good group with good discussion and the sharing of experiences so that everyone has a chance to interact, learn and share best practices for learning the material.
